During the beta
Upgrading is a message. There is no checkout yet, and we would rather not pretend otherwise.
Tell us which plan you want and it is switched on for your account by hand. After the beta, plans move to card payments with a normal subscription - and you will be told before anything is ever charged.

What is a credit?
What the AI features are paid in. A message to the assistant or a critique costs 1, a client reply 2, a cover letter 3 (it is drafted, then reviewed), a written report 3. Each credit frees up 24 hours after you use it, and every plan also has a 30-day limit, so a daily allowance cannot be spent in full every single day.
What happens when I run out?
Only the AI waits. Tracking, the connect ledger, syncing, scoring, import and the business tools keep working on every plan, including Basic. Credits come back 24 hours after each use - or you upgrade.
How do I upgrade?
Get in touch and say which plan. ProposalIQ is in beta and there is no checkout yet, so a paid plan is switched on by hand. Card payments arrive after the beta, and nobody is charged anything without being told first.
Do I need a card?
No. Basic is free and there is no card field anywhere in the product. During the beta a paid plan is arranged directly with us.
Do I need my own OpenAI key?
No. The AI runs on ours - credits are what you spend.
What happens to my data?
It stays yours. ProposalIQ is not affiliated with Upwork and stores only what you entered, imported, or captured from pages you opened yourself - nothing is sold or shared. Self-serve export and account deletion are not built yet; ask and it gets done by hand, and they are on the list.
