Plain language, because it is short.
What we store
The account details you give us (name, email, and a hashed password if you did not sign in with Google), and the proposal data you enter: job titles and URLs, client names, connects, bids, statuses, cover letters, notes and any resume you upload.
What we never store
Your Upwork password or account credentials. ProposalIQ has no connection to your Upwork account and cannot read, send or withdraw anything on your behalf. Everything here is data you typed or imported yourself.
Your data is yours
Every row is scoped to your account. You can export your applications to CSV at any time, and deleting your account removes your applications, connect ledger, templates and resumes.
AI features
When you generate or critique a cover letter, the relevant job description, your resume text and examples of your own past proposals are sent to the OpenAI API to produce that response. Nothing is sent to OpenAI unless you press the button that does it, and the analytics work fully without ever using them.
Cookies
One session cookie, used to keep you signed in. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
